HIDDEN GREENS SMOOTHIE

This Hidden Greens Smoothie is a simple way to pack a surprising amount of nutrients into one delicious drink.

Naturally sweet from kiwi and strawberries, it’s balanced with healthy fats from cashew butter and a boost of plant-based protein to keep you feeling satisfied. The addition of leafy greens and broccoli sprouts blends in seamlessly, making this an easy, refreshing option for breakfast or a nourishing snack.


Serves 1


Green smoothie


Ingredients:


25g unflavoured protein powder

1 kiwi, peeled

Handful of strawberries

Handful of kale Handful of watercress

1 tbsp cashew butter

2 tbsp broccoli sprouts

Water or almond milk as desired


Method:


1. Place all the ingredients in a blender, add desired amount of water or unsweetened milk and blend to make your perfect smoothie.


Make It Your Own


This smoothie is really flexible, so feel free to adjust it based on what you have or enjoy. Swap the strawberries for blueberries, raspberries, or mango, or use spinach instead of kale or watercress for a milder flavour. You can also switch the cashew butter for almond or peanut butter, and add extras like flaxseeds or oats for a more filling smoothie. If you prefer it sweeter, a little banana works beautifully too.
